In January, 1994, we sat enjoying a campfire at Seacliff Beach located near Santa Cruz, California, and the idea of the PIT-2-GO® Campfire/Firepit and Bar-B-Que was "born". We love using our recreational vehicle for camping trips and weekend "getaways" and particularly enjoy sitting around a campfire. We would use the tub part from the inside of an old washing machine to create a great campfire. People would often stop to ask us where we got our firepit to which we would reply, "It's the inside of a washing machine." Now this was, and still is, a great way to have a campfire but it has a couple of drawbacks... it's large and bulky to store in your car, truck, boat or R.V.
And so, after three years in development, we now have "The Folding Wash-Tub"® called the PIT-2-GO® Campfire/Firepit and Bar-B-Que! Our product allows you to have a great campfire, folds up neatly and compactly and stows away in even the smallest storage space! But, we added a few features for even more enjoyment... you can bar-b-que or use a dutch oven to prepare your meal before the campfire... and when you're ready to leave, we have provided a storage wrap to protect your car, truck, boat or R.V. Plus, you can use the PIT-2-GO® Campfire/Firepit and Bar-B-Que almost anywhere!
