What is a PIT-2-GOŽ Campfire and Bar-B-Que?
The PIT-2-GOŽ Campfire and Bar-B-Que
is a portable, foldable, stowable campfire and bar-b-que. It can be used almost
anywhere... including your own backyard! When it is not in use, it stows away
neat and clean in a custom storage wrap.
What is the PIT-2-GOŽ Campfire and
Bar-B-Que made of?
We
have designed our product with the goal to providing our customers with a
quality, well-built campfire and bar-b-que. We have used 14 and 16 gauge steel
for the side walls and interior fire box construction and have assembled our
product using stainless steel hinges and rivets to prevent them from rusting.
The finish is achieved by using a high heat powder coating.
How long will the PIT-2-GOŽ Campfire
and Bar-B-Que last?
Our product has been built with quality materials and stainless
steel hinges and rivets. If used in accordance with instructions, it will last
many, many years.
Does the PIT-2-GOŽ Campfire and
Bar-B-Que require any maintenance?
We have used a high heat powder coating to finish our product,
however, from time to time you may have an area that requires "touch-up" which
can be easily achieved by gently sanding the area and applying a high heat
bar-b-que paint that can be purchased at any hardware store.
How long does it take to cool down
after use?
Once the
source of heat has been removed it takes 10-20 minutes to cool down for storage.
This makes the PIT-2-GOŽ Campfire and Bar-B-Que and excellent choice for those
who enjoy a tailgate party before their favorite sporting event.
Can it be used on a wood
deck?
The PIT-2-GOŽ
Campfire and Bar-B-Que, particularly when used as a firepit, must be used on a
non-combustible surface and should not be used on a wood deck unless an approved
hearth is built.
What kind of fuel do you
use?
The PIT-2-GOŽ
Campfire and Bar-B-Que can be used with wood or pressed-wood logs for a
campfire, and wood or charcoal briquettes for cooking. You can have a great fire
using oak wood logs and then as the wood burns down bar-b-que your favorite meal
over the embers! If using the charcoal grate, briquettes can be ready in
minutes!

Can the PIT-2-GOŽ Campfire and
Bar-B-Que be used where campfires are not allowed?
Of course you must check with the authorities who
regulate the area you may want to use, however, the PIT-2-GOŽ Campfire and
Bar-B-Que is a "contained fire" and therefore would be allowed if regulations
allow a contained fire. We added an optional stainless steel Pit Spark Shield to
use with our product that will add to the safety of the campfire.
How do I clean the PIT-2-GOŽ Campfire
and Bar-B-Que after using?
It's as easy as 1... 2... 3...
Remove the ashes to an appropriate container using a small shovel.
Remove the sides and bottom of the firebox and brush remaining ashes away with a small brush.
Insert grates and firebox into unit (or
totebag), then fold, wrap and store!
